My State Reports

This packet includes 50 state book covers and one of the United States (51 total book covers) and 31 page inserts covering many topics- major bodies of water, landforms, state bird, etc. Pick the ones you want to use. The writing pages have handwriting lines for younger students (see cover).This packet can be used for:
• Making a class book on one particular state- do pages together as a class or assign each student one page
• Students do reports on different states.
• Assign a book for a homework assignment.
• Each student in your class can do a page and all the pages can be put together into a class quilt to display on a bulletin board or wall.

Acrostic Poems for Al 50 States & The United States

This kit contains 51 acrostic poem sheets of the 50 states and one of  the United States. They can be used for social studies, writing and poetry lessons. The sheets vary depending on the size and shape of the states and the length of their names. All are on 8.5" x 11" sheets and can be photocopied onto white or colored paper. Acrostic poem directions are also included.
Completed poems can be mounted on colored construction paper to be displayed, put into a class book, or attached together to form a "states quilt" that can be displayed on a wall or bulletin board.

Five pages of colored feathers are included. Black and white feathers are also included to save your printer's color ink! You can have your students color the black and white feathers, too, if you prefer.
Students will ask to play the game even when it's not Thanksgiving time!
