NEW! Editable Behavior Chart!

This EDITABLE and colorful behavior chart will not only brighten your classroom, it will help improve your students' behavior. The chart comes in three 11" x 8.5" sections that you will print and then tape together. The finished chart is 25 1/2" long and 11" wide. Laminate it for years of use. Laminate the chart pieces (white or colored pieces) for your students. Then cut them apart. I use a ball of blue sticky wall putty on the back of each piece to stick them to the chart.

 At the beginning of each day, all students’ pieces start on the rainbow “Ready to Learn” section (or whatever term you choose). When you catch students making good choices (good behavior, helping others, etc.), tell them to move up a section. For behavior issues or children making poor choices, they move down a section at a time. Have predetermined consequences for the bottom 2 sections and discuss how the chart works with your class before you start to use it.

Also included are reward cards to award to students at the end of each day if they are on the top section. They love getting them, and so do their parents!

Star of the Week Class Book

Your students will get lots of practice writing informational stories about their classmates, too.  Choose the page that's appropriate for your students (lines or primary dotted lines). Have each child write a story about the week's star and add an illustration. Add the child's name and "Written & Illustrated By ____'s Class" on the cover (directions included) and print the cover.
