Christmas Countdown Sign
Your students will have fun counting down the days until Christmas this this cute $1 sign! You can use the “Christmas Countdown” Sign four different ways:
1. Laminate the sign. Every day, let a student write a number in the box with a marker than can be washed off with a damp paper towel.
2. Put 25 numbered sticky notes (1-25 with #25 on top) on the box on the sign. Let a student peel off a number every day.
3. Write a different number on a sticky note and attach it to the box every day.
4. Cut the box out of the sign and attach the sign to your chalkboard. Each day a student can write a number on the chalkboard in the box. Merry Christmas and happy counting!

At Christmastime
At Christmastime... the pages of this tree-shaped book can be cut in the shape of a tree or the
sheets can be stapled without cutting. There are 6 pages in the book that REVIEW
the FIVE SENSES. Students finish the sentence starters on each page and then add
illustrations. It can be used as a center activity or completed as a whole class
writing/ science lesson. This book is great for early readers and writers!
My Candy Cane- A Book About My Five Senses
My Candy Cane Book: Give each of your students a small candy cane. They can eat
them while you read them a story. Then they can wash their hands and make their
candy cane books. There are 6 pages. Students will cut out the candy cane
shaped pages, staple them together and complete their books. Each page has a
sentence to complete and the book reviews the FIVE SENSES. This is perfect for
first grade and for the month of December!
